Old Wood ended 2020 with a bang with this beautiful custom home in Durango, CO. From the ceilings and floors, to the beautiful mesquite butcher-block countertops, we were honored to collaborate with the home's owner from beginning to end. The home features our circle-sawn Douglas Fir flooring with our custom color, OW Zebra. The color was specifically chosen by the client for its richness, complexity, and modern edge that it lent to a rustic floor. In a combination of two widths, 7.25” and 5.25”, the floor was the perfect backdrop for the rest of the home. The fire reclaimed, Ponderosa Pine ceiling brightened the space and showcased the stunning, tall ceilings. Finally, dual islands were topped off with custom mesquite butcher blocks. We couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome!
